Radar is a well-established technology for detecting objects. It was originally developed for the military, but is now widely used in civilian applications. Only recently, however, has radar been available in such a mobile and affordable configuration.
EyeSite Surveillance’s Mobile Radar jobsite security system is an ideal solution for environments that are subject to multiple false alarms using more traditional motion-sensing equipment. Radar has the ability to filter out the effects of shadow or car light movement, small animals, rain/wind/fog, or insects attracted to infrared sensors. None of these distractions affect the radar as it monitors your site.

- Detects objects including speed, distance, angle, and classification
- Available in 120° or 180° wide angle Horizontal Detection
- Radar 120 provides up to a 50 Meter (164 ft) range, equalling 28,000 sq. ft. of coverage.
- Radar 180 provides up to a 60 Meter (164 ft) range, equalling 64,000 sq. ft. of coverage (that’s more area than a football field!).
- Combined with a PTZ with auto tracking capabilities for visual verification by monitoring station
