Eyesite Press Release

Rockwell, Texas – EyeSite Surveillance, Inc. is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Operation Finally Home to help fulfill its mission to, “…provide custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America’s Heroes and the widows of the fallen who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and our way of life.” EyeSite Surveillance joins Mishler Builders and other sponsoring organizations such as the Dallas Builders Association, TXU Energy and FC Dallas to pitch in and help build a great home for U.S. Army Sgt. First Class Jerry Holcomb and family in Rockwall, Texas.

EyeSite Surveillance, Inc. will be providing real time video of the construction progress for the home being built in the High Point Lake Estates Community in Rockwall, Texas. Upon completion, this home will be handed over SFC Holcomb and his family during a ribbon cutting ceremony.  The home will be theirs to enjoy mortgage-free for life.

SFC Holcomb joined the U.S. Army in 2001. After his first duty assignment in Korea, he was deployed to two tours in Iraq followed by a tour in Afghanistan. During his Afghanistan tour in 2010, Holcomb suffered concussions during two separate grenade explosions, causing severe headaches and shrapnel wounds to the right side of his face, neck, arm and leg. In October 2010, a third blast threw him from his guard tower and rendered him unconscious with amnesia upon waking.

He was immediately medically evacuated to Germany and returned to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland once stabilized. His health issues include a traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and neck, shoulder and back pain. Holcomb served 13 years in the Army and medically retired in November 2014. SFC Holcomb has been honored with many awards, including two Purple Hearts, two Bronze Star Medals and many other medals of distinction. He currently lives in South Carolina with his wife and two children, but they will soon be moving to Rockwall, Texas.
